In the context of UNESCO special year of Quantum Science and Technology
Past conferences:
Quantissima nella Serenissima Prima, Venice 2011
Quantissima nella Serenissima Segunda, Venice 2017
Quantissima nella Serenissima Tertia, Venice 2019
Quantissima nella Serenissima Quaternia, Venice 2022
Quantissima nella Serenissima Quinta, Venice 2024
The first week will be aimed at beginning PhD
students with two lectures:
Laurent Bruneau and Vojkan Jakšić: Introduction to spectral theory.
Jakob Björnberg and Daniel Ueltschi: Introduction to quantum lattice systems at equilibrium.
The second week will be aimed at junior researchers. The main program consists of these four lecture courses:
Vieri Mastropietro: Fine structure constant, anomalous magnetic factor and transport coefficients .
Robert Seiringer: Mathematical Foundations of Density Functional Theory .
Jan Philip Solovej: The structure complex atoms and understanding the periodic table of the elements.
Stefan Teufel: How infinitely extended gapped many-body quantum systems respond to local
and global perturbations.
It will be complemented by short talk sessions.
A traditional conference will take place in the third week.
Here is the poster. You are welcome to circulate it!
